How the file is kept

Four chapters, one team, the whole life of the vehicle.

Many owners deal with a dealer, a fitter, a tint shop, an agent for papers and an insurer, and keep every date in their head. We hold all four chapters of the file and work through them in order.

I Before you buy

Choose and check before you pay.

Tell us the car you are looking at. We check the model and year, read the chassis number against the papers and the metal, and tell you what it will cost to track, protect and keep legal before money changes hands.

II The day we fit

A hidden anti-jammer tracker, fitted at your door.

A technician comes to your home, office or yard in any of 18 cities, hides the tracker where a thief will not find it in a hurry, and puts the live location on your phone before leaving. No call-out fee, and most cars are done in under an hour.

From the people whose files we keep

Before Otrac I had one man for the tint, another for my papers and a tracker guy who never answered. Now it is one number.

Profile

“GPS tracking should not be a big-fleet luxury.”

Adekunle Olanrewaju Emmanuel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Adekunle founded Otrac in Ikeja, Lagos in 2013 and led the expansion into Abuja and Port Harcourt in 2020. He has pushed the company to put tracking within reach of everyday owners and small operators, and to keep pace with a security landscape that now includes signal jammers. His view, as Vanguard put it in its headline, is that GPS tracking is no longer a big-fleet luxury.

FAQ

The questions people ask first.

Still unsure? Ask on WhatsApp and a person answers.

What is a vehicle ownership concierge?
One team that looks after a vehicle for its whole life, instead of you juggling separate people for each job. Otrac advises you before you buy, fits the tracking and protection, keeps the vehicle watched, sorts the papers and keeps the cover current. You call one number for all of it.
How much does a car tracker cost?
The first year starts from ₦100,000 and is set by the car’s model year: pick the year in the price checker on the car tracker page. Every car then renews at ₦35,000 a year. See all prices.
Do you work with businesses and fleets?
Yes. We look after private owners with one car and companies running yards of trucks, buses and pool cars. Fleets get telematics, fuel monitoring, driver services and one point of contact. Book a consultation.
Where do you operate?
We fit at your door in 18 cities, with staffed offices in Lagos (Ikeja), Abuja (Garki) and Port Harcourt, open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Check your city.
Do you recover stolen vehicles?
No. Otrac provides accurate, real-time location intelligence. Recovery is carried out by the Nigeria Police Force and other authorized security agencies. If a car is taken, we pass the live location to the appropriate security authorities, which helps police recover the vehicle.
